Are you working on an album and would like to bring your songs to the next dimension? Add strings to your next project! From one song to a whole album, from lush strings to active counterparts, Andy will work with you personally to arrange and record live strings according to your artistic vision. Anything is possible, from a single violin weaving between your vocals to an entire orchestra, multitracked! With my 4 and 5-string violins and octave violin, an infinite range of textures is possible. I am able to hire a cello or bass player if a lot of low range is required, but this is rarely necessary. Depending on the album budget, I may record in my fully equiped home studio, or a trusted local studio. Because we live in a brilliant new digital age, I am able to record tracks wherever I am and send them to you wherever you are! I am also happy to come to your session, depending on where it is. I will be in touch with you or your producer at every stage of the process. You only pay when all the work is done and you are 100% satisfied with the results. Rates vary depending on how much work is needed. Please email me to discuss your project.

Andy offers professional recording services. He is able to take on either a producing role, an engineering role, or both.
As an engineer, Andy exclusively records with his mobile recording studio, either in his apartment or he will come to your location! Andy has been recording himself since he was a little kid and this early hobby has trained his ears and skills. His number one goal is to make sure to get you the sounds and tones that you want for your recording. Whether you need a new demo to showcase your talent or wish to record an entire album, Andy is ready to work with you. Solo artist? Band? Anything is fine and everything is possible. His gear includes fantastic microphones and preamps to suit any situation, including: Mojave Audio MA-200 Tube Condenser Mic, Royer 121-A ribbon mic, Shure Beta 57-A’s, Groove Tubes The Brick Preamp, and AEA’s The Ribbon Pre.
